Hi Lovelies!



one. One of my good friends, Christa moved to Denver this past week and I met up with her and her boyfriend Doug for happy hour. Cinnamon Toast Crunch shots (Fireball and Rumchata) were needed to celebrate her arrival!

two. The bar we went to for happy hour (which shall remain nameless to protect me) serves the best Moscow Mules in Denver! Between the three of us we consumed more than I could keep track of, which lead to the "borrowing" of a mug when we left. I told Christa it was her housewarming present!

three. After a successful happy hour, we got takeout Greek and Christa showed me around her new place. We decided to check out the neighborhood bars and stumbled into a gay bar and then a practically empty bar. The empty bar had a back porch with Jenga so we stayed for a few drinks.

four. I couldn't wait to get back to my Saturday morning ritual of getting my nails done. They were looking rough to say the least. I decided to go for Fall with navy and added some sparkles for an accent nail. PS. Does Sandra Bullock not kill it on this Vogue cover? She is so stunning I can't handle it.

no picture. I didn't get a picture because we were having too much fun, but I got to go to lunch with Mal and her husband and I loved it. We stayed at the restaurant for almost two hours but it felt like a few minutes.

five. Saturday night started our night at The Gin Mill, my favorite bar in Denver, to celebrate my friend Sara's birthday! We bar hopped around and it was a blast. Apparently Sara didn't want to take any pictures though, because I don't have any.

six. This is why Snapchats should probably not be allowed after 10pm. I'm not even sure why I'm showing this to you actually. It's kind of funny though! The guy in the background is definitely a photo bomber and not someone we were with.

seven. Apparently birthday celebrations require fish bowls, at least according to the guy that bought it. At the time I thought it was a great idea, but the next day my hangover said differently. Also, it was brown which is kind of concerning.

eight. I decided that we needed to round out Christa's first weekend in town with the best brunch in town at Snooze.

nine. No, this meal wasn't part of my meal plan. Oops. It was delicious though! Green Eggs and Ham Samwich and a Banana Caramel pancake. I could only eat half of each!

My weekend was filled with celebrations and it was fantastic, but exhausting. After having quite a few sketchy friends in Denver these past few years, I'm thrilled to have some long-time friends around that I love hanging out with. I'm looking forward to more fun weekends ahead!
