Usually I like to share my favorite things
but I realized today that I've never shared things I'm not fond of.

I don't like to be negative on this blog unless of course it's necessary,
and this my friends is necessary, because..
if we are going to be friends you should know the things that drive me crazy!

1. Sunburns
This one is obvious.
I've been whining about mine all week.
On the plus side, I've managed to not wear a bra to work all week.
TMI? Maybe. Win? Definitely.

2. Foursquare
I just don't get it.
Why do you need to tell people where you are at all times?
It's especially annoying on Twitter.
Go check in on Facebook or something.
What's the point of it anyway?
To become the "mayor" of Yogurtland?
I don't need an app to tell me that ;)

3. Odd Numbers
Hate them.
Even is the way to go.
It just makes more sense.. am I right?

4. OU
This is obvious.
I went to Oklahoma State.
OU sucks.. the end.
2012 Big 12 and Fiesta Bowl Champs babyyyy!

5. Snow
Well this one is weird right?
I live in Colorado.
It makes people drive like idiots and traps me in my house.
Not a fan.

6. Bacon
Yes, I know.
How un-American of me.
It's gross okay?
Just the smell can push me over the edge.

7. Illegal Drugs
They took the life of someone who meant a lot to me.
Every time I think about it.. it makes me sad and angry all at the same time.
End of story.
Oh, and that guy that ate the other guy's face in Florida?
Something tells me he was on something.
People just don't do that stuff for no reason!

8. Flaky People
My biggest pet-peeve.
If you make plans, stick to them.
Bottom line.
It's not a hard thing to do.

9. Dark Liquor/Dark Beer
Occasionally I will drink whiskey.. but it's rare.
I am a Vodka/Blue Moon girl through and through.
Rum, Cognac, Guinness?
Vom.

10.UFC
Don't even get me started.
What a vile sport.
Fighting in general is just stupid to me so actually paying money to watch guys hit each other?
Gross and dumb.

Okay, okay that was a lot of no's, bad's, and gross so let's end on a good note!

Remember when Dana and I had that awesome giveaway?
Well I was sad that you couldn't all win..
but I wasn't sad that this girl won!

Hello loves! 

I recently signed up for and completed two secret blogger swaps and I wanted to share them with you.

1. Send Something Good

This one was hosted by Gentri, Kaitlyn, and Kristy.

I didn't know anything about it until Ashley posted about it and I immediately signed up.

I was assigned to Lisa of Nowak Notes and I was so excited to "get to know" her.

I immediately creeped her blog and twitter and thought for sure she knew what I was doing.

I found out that she loves birds, has an adorable son, and is from Texas.

What I got her:

She took way better pictures in her reveal if you want to see the individual items. 

She seemed to really like it and that made me so happy. 

I love buying people presents, so this is right up my alley!

The second part is hard for me to write..

I don't want to be mean, but I also don't want to be fake. 

I was disappointed with the package I received.

The whole point was to meet someone new and get to know them.

I felt I took the time to get to know Lisa and send her something she would love!

I did not feel that my partner did that.

I don't think she even looked at my blog.

I received items from her Etsy shop.

I don't mean for this to be rude in any way.. I'm just being honest.
I'm allowed to be honest.. because this is my blog.
Sorry if I offended anyone, but it is what it is.

2. Secret Blogger Swap

This one was hosted by one of my favorite bloggers, Danielle from Framed Frosting.

I was assigned to Ashley of The Sweet Life.

Again, I couldn't wait to "get to know" her.

For starters, she just got engaged! Congrats Ashley :)

I found out she likes bright nail polish, earrings, and pretty planners.

What a coincidence, I love all of those things too!

Of course, I was running late so I didn't get a picture of her package but I'm sure she will post some.

I got her:

I came home from the long weekend on Monday to find my swap package.

It was from Amanda at Amanda-Bella.

 Fun Fact: We BOTH have Chihuaha's named Lily!

How cool is that?!

I absolutely loved this package. 

It was SO me!

Hello loves!

I'd just like to preface this by saying.. 

today sucks.

The whole front of my body is the color of a tomato and I am miserable.

This however is my own fault because I was warned.

My weekend was awesome though.

Friday..

I got off work at 3 and headed home to see my parents. 

I decided to make this recipe.

Do you know how hard it is to make cookie dough and then not bake cookies?

Really hard.

Saturday..

Mom and I went to get to get our nails done.

OPI Big Apple Red and Crown Me Already

I had the best black bean burger at Smash Burger.

I made cookies.

The whole family went and walked around at the annual street fair called "Territory Days"

My mom, brother, and I went to see Dark Shadows.

Sunday..

I got ready and headed to Starbucks..

to have my very first "blate" with this girl

Janna from Perception is Everything

You guys.. I can't even begin to express how genuine and sweet this girl is!

I think we sat and talked for almost two hours,

and there was never a moment where neither of us had anything to say.

She comes across exactly the way she does on her blog and she is even prettier in person.. 

if that is possible?

I can't wait for the next time we get a chance to hangout!

Afterwards.. I went with my family to a BBQ.

Monday..

I went to the pool with my Mom.

I went to another family BBQ.

then..

It was time for Lily and I to go home.

:(

It was an awesome weekend.

I got to spend quality time with my parents and brother,

(Even if my mom claims I was grumpy the whole time)

I got to see a lot of my extended family,

(Even if I ate way too much)

and it was super relaxing.

(Even if I should have used sunscreen)

What beauty product do you have a love/hate relationship with?

Definitely liquid eyeliner! 

For the longest time I have only worn eyeliner on my bottom water line because I can never get a straight, even line on my eyelid. It look so good on everyone else though.

The new felt pen eyeliners are saving me from this disaster!

Thank goodness.

What beauty product is the hardest to get?

I'm going to go a different route with this one and say getting my nails done.

The guy that does my nails perfectly works an hour away from me and is always booked..

but I never go anywhere else.

It's totally worth it!

Gluttony:

What is your most delicious beauty product?

Anything and everything from Lush!

My current favorite is their "Sexy Peel" soap.

It smells like oranges and is amazing!

Sloth:

What beauty product do you neglect due to laziness?

On a day-to-day basis, I usually only wear eyeliner and mascara on my eyes. 

I love to do my full eye makeup.. but I only do it when I am going out somewhere fun!

Pride:

What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?

I have blonde eyelashes so I usually don't go anywhere without having mascara on.

If I don't wear it, I feel like my eyes don't stand out at all and they are my favorite feature!

What are your favorite attributes in the opposite sex?

This is a totally random question.

I usually look at eyes and smile first! 

Good teeth are a must, obvs.

I would have to say this one is perfume.

It's one of my favorite products, but can be really expensive.

I add my favorite to my Christmas list and usually Santa delivers!

Hello Pretties!

Did you watch the Billboard Music Awards?

All 3 hours?

Unfortuantely, I did.

I was waiting for Gavin DeGraw who didn't show up until the last 20 minutes.

There were parts that were good, but overall the show was sort of blah.

Doesn't mean we can't talk about the fashion, right?

Let's get to it!

The Good

Taylor Swift- Elie Saab

Finally, she nails it! I love her straight hair and makeup and the dress is gorgeous! 

The illusion top adds some sexy while still remaining very classy.

Dare I say it.. best she's ever looked?

Carrie Underwood- Oscar de la Renta

I wasn't sure about this at first, but I decided I love it.

It's a refreshing change from her usual short dresses on the red carpet..

and a great homage to her album title.

Jordin Sparks- Diane von Furstenberg

This is such a perfect dress for this event. 

Not too stuffy but still formal and sexy.

Plus, you have to give her props.. 

Girlfriend looks good and she did a great job with the Whitney tribute.

Katy Perry- Bluemarine

This is the first Katy Perry ensemble I have liked in a long time.

Her black to purple ombre hair is a million times better than the blue,

and this dress is how you do fun while still looking put together.

Love it!

The Bad

Miley Cyrus- Jean Paul Gaultier

 This kills me. I hate it!

It looks like she forgot her dress so she grabbed a Men's blazer last minute.

If she wanted to do something that low cut, she needs to wear pants.

Pick one or the other girlfriend!

Julianne Hough- Kaufman Franco

Such a pretty girl, with such a bad stylist!

Does this not scream towel to anyone else?

It's a gorgeous fabric but not a great design and it's not flattering at all.

Zooey Deschanel- Moschino

This is just bad styling.

The shift dress is adorable but the tights and shoes are all wrong.

I know this is her "thing" but you're in Vegas for crying out loud!

Chrissy Teigen- Unknown

I think she is so cute and I love her blog but I can't love this dress.

It swallows her thin figure and just is not flattering.

Not a huge fan of the bangs either, too much!

The UGLY

My love.. that facial hair.

I just can't. 

It's taking away from your gorgeous smile, and that makes me sad!
