Hi Lovebugs!

Once the major awards shows are over, its hard to find events with enough attendees and/or pictures for a whole fashion post. Well today you are in luck, because I've decided to cover the American Country Music awards that were on this past Sunday.

I'm not really a Country fan, but you can always count on the Country stars to show up in some interesting fashion, whether it's good or bad. There is always lots of sparkle, big hair, and cowboy boots! Here are my thoughts..

Taylor Swift in Dolce & Gabbana
This dress is a lot of sparkle, and I mean a lot.. and if she had worn this to the Grammys? I would have said nope, move along T.Swift. It's all about the event, and for this one I love it. It's sophisticated but still youthful and the metallic hue is very on trend. Now as for the hair? Boring. Try again.


Kaley Cuoco in BCBG Max Azria
Two thumbs up! Normally I'm not impressed with Kaley's choices, but this one I just love. The geometric pattern is fierce and it fits her like a glove. The pattern is not overwhelming and is very flattering to her waist. Of course she has to eff it up with the Mohawk poof she's got on her head, but I get where she was trying to go with it.. not so much poof next time girl!


Kimberley Perry in Dior
I think this might be my favorite look of the night. Lately I have been obsessed with crisp white looks and this one is on point! I love the sparkly panel on the front and the long skirt over the short skirt magically works here, when most of the time it doesn't. She looks gorgeous from head to toe!


Jana Kramer in Badgley Mischka
Again, a lot of sparkle.. maybe too much? There is a ton of embellishment going on here but when you stay in the same color palette it tends to work. I sort of wish that it went all the way down instead of that two feet of boring tulle, but overall it's a gorgeous dress. Oh, and maybe loose the fringe on the bust, not cute!


Hillary Scott in Pea in the Pod
Take notes Kim Kardashian, this is how you dress a baby bump and look incredibly classy! I love the navy dress with her red hued hair and she is glowing. She looks happy and pretty and isn't that the goal when you're working the red carpet at eight months pregnant? Also, loving the charcoal jewels.. so pretty.

Carrie Underwood in Naeem Khan
Normally I have nothing bad to say about Miss Carrie, but I'm not loving this look. The cut of the dress itself is pretty and flattering but the pattern is too much floral. This reminds me of a bad dress you would find at Dillards. The hair is also a little messy for my taste. Her body looks incredible as usual though!


Jewel in Georges Chakra
Ohhh honey no. This has bad pageant written all over it! Not only is her spray tan orange, but so is her dress. When you do sparkles, you should always stick to neutrals or jewel tones or else you run the risk of looking juvenile. It's too bad, because the fit of the dress is actually perfect!


Faith Hill in Chado Ralph Rucci
This dress has me very confused. First of all, it's see-through. When you're her age.. nothing should be see-through. The length of the skirt is off, and the sleeves are weirdly cinched. Oh, and lets not forget that the front is only closed about a foot along her midsection? Just not a good look at all.


Shania Twain in Unknown
Oh Shania. The 90's called and they want their outfit back. Also, they invented this thing called the straightener and I'm telling you.. it works wonders on wavy or curly hair. Just a hint! PS. Leave the thigh-high boots to the hookers.


Sheryl Crow in Zac Posen
I hate having anything bad to say about Mr. Posen, but not the right outfit for the event, not the right accessories, and you need a new hair style. I say this completely out of love, of course.
